Clarebane’s current house types range from three-bedroom semi-detached homes to larger four-bedroom detached layouts. That means the window-covering plan can vary quite a bit from one property to another. We help you work through it room by room, measure properly once the house is ready, and choose products that solve the practical issues first: privacy, sleeping, glare and large glazed doors.
Clarebane is not made up of one repeated layout. Current homes include the three-bedroom Bracken, Donegore and Fernagh, alongside four-bedroom Clara and Elmstead house types. Some are detached, some semi-detached, and the larger layouts can introduce extra living spaces that need their own solution.
Prioritise the main bedroom, front-facing living spaces and any kitchen or patio glazing first. The rest of the house can then follow the same palette without needing the same product.
More bedrooms usually means more variation in use: main bedroom, children’s rooms, guest room or home office. Light control and privacy do not have to be specified identically in each one.
The Clara is listed with four bedrooms, three reception spaces and a garden room. That makes it a good example of why a single blind type throughout the property can be unnecessarily restrictive.
The Clarebane specification lists energy-saving uPVC windows with a black exterior and white interior. Indoors, that gives you a clean white frame to work with, so the blind does not need to match the dark exterior.
The Clarebane specification allows for French doors or sliding patio doors, depending on the property. These openings behave differently from a standard kitchen window: the blind has to work with the way the door opens, the amount of glass and how often you use the garden.
There is no reason to force one product throughout. These four cover different practical jobs and can still be kept visually consistent through colour and finish.
Useful where you want to angle the slats for daytime privacy without shutting out all of the natural light.
A straightforward way to improve bedroom light control, particularly when early-morning light is the main problem to solve.
Worth considering where the window or door system is suitable and you want the blind held neatly with the moving frame.
A more architectural option for rooms where adjustable privacy and a fitted furniture-like appearance are the priority.
Clarebane buyers are offered choices around flooring, kitchens and other finishes subject to build stage. Walls are specified in a neutral colour, with white internal window frames and crisp white trim. That creates a useful base for choosing window coverings before the house becomes filled with furniture.
Use the house type and your furniture plan to decide which windows need covering first. Bedrooms, street-facing rooms and glazed doors usually deserve the earliest attention.
Once we can access the finished rooms and windows, we measure each opening and check handles, reveals, door movement and fitting positions.
Compare samples against your kitchen, flooring, paint and natural light. That is far more useful than trying to select the entire house from small online swatches.
Yes. Tell us whether you are in a Bracken, Clara, Donegore, Elmstead, Fernagh or another Clarebane layout when booking. It gives useful context, although we will still measure the actual windows before an order is placed.
Yes, if you have access and the relevant rooms and window openings are sufficiently complete for accurate measuring. If not, you can still speak to us earlier and plan which products you want to compare.
That depends on how much glass the room has, its orientation and how you intend to use it. Glare, heat, privacy and access through doors can matter more than the style of the blind, so we would assess those points in the room first.
No. Clarebane’s specification lists black externally and white internally. Your blind is viewed mainly from inside, so it normally makes more sense to coordinate it with the internal frame, room finishes and furniture.
Yes. If you are considering most of the property, select the larger appointment option when booking or tell us approximately how many windows are involved. We can still split the recommendations by room rather than specifying one product throughout.
If you are choosing who to invite into a new home to measure and fit, independent feedback matters. Read recent Village Blinds & Shutters reviews on Trustpilot before you book.
Tell us your house type, the rooms you want to deal with and roughly how many windows are involved. We will come to Clarebane, measure the finished openings, show you suitable samples and provide a quotation.
Product suitability is confirmed at the property. Development specifications and house details can vary by plot and build stage.
