Our Motorised Blinds are a modern blinds solution to automate the control of your blinds at the touch of a button. When you have motorised blinds installed you will be able to use a remote control to have them raise, lower, or in some blind types tilt. This is ideal for large or hard-to-reach windows, as well as homes with multiple blinds. Alternatively, you can also access controls on your smartphone, or integrate them into any smart home technology you use, via the TaHoma Home Hub, (available separately).
Our Motorised Blinds are available in a variety of types of blinds to suit your needs. These are Roller Blinds, Roman Blinds, Venetian Blinds, Wood Venetian Blinds, and Cellular Blinds. We have multiple power options available for our motorised blinds. They can be made using rechargeable packs which can provide months of use out of a single charge. Alternatively, they can be connected to mains power, something which is particularly popular in new build homes. Finally, we can also connect them to solar power if this is available in your home. This provides a triple charge that is more environmentally conscious.
Our Motorised Blinds can allow for a variety of methods for control over multiple channels across multiple rooms. Multi-Channel means that your control will have different channels which control one or multiple blinds. This can then also be split by room as well. This gives easier control over multiple blinds.
We can also add the ability to connect your blinds to other devices. This would allow for smart home integration into devices that you would use to control other aspects of your home such as temperature or music.

Our design consultant will arrive at the agreed time slot and ask you questions about your requirements and style preferences to help understand your project. They will measure your windows and discuss fabric/material options and provide you with a quotation based on your choices.
Depending on your requirements, a home appointment can take from 30 minutes for 1-10 blinds, to 60 minutes for 10+ blinds or window shutters. Our design consultant will work at your pace and we’re happy to stay longer to talk through your options and provide advice if you’d like.
We would ask ahead of the home appointment that you have arranged clear access to the window areas being measured and that any obstructing furniture or breakables near the windows are removed.
Once the windows are in, plastering has been completed and any tiling or skirting or architrave that might be close to the blinds has been installed. This will allow our design consultant to take accurate measurements.
Usually, our design consultant will be able to provide you with your quotation during your appointment. Sometimes for some very bespoke projects pricing can take a little longer. If you haven’t heard back within 24 hours, give them a call or email and they will keep you updated.
Our production team work tirelessly to craft every single blind and shutter for our customers individually. Lead in times can vary depending on factors such as material availability and our production schedule. That being said we will always work to get your order as quickly as possible. Ask your design consultant for an up-to-date lead time estimate.
