Our story

It started small.
It stayed personal.

In 1991, Harold McCloy began making and selling blinds in Ballymena. What started as a small family venture developed into a specialist local manufacturing business serving homes across Northern Ireland.

As demand grew, production moved to Cullybackey, where the team specialised in Vertical, Venetian and Roller blinds. Village Blinds later outgrew that site and moved to Pennybridge in Ballymena in 2000 — the base from which the business has continued to develop its products, manufacturing and service.

01 · Understand

Start with your room.

We talk about privacy, light, style, operation and how you actually use the space before narrowing suitable options.

Your design consultant measures the relevant windows and confirms the specification before your order goes into production.

03 · Make

Made for your windows.

Our production team creates your blinds or shutters to the agreed sizes, materials, colours and operating details.

04 · Fit

Finish the job properly.

Our fitting team installs the finished products, checks their operation and leaves you with a completed window rather than another task.

Quality that continues after fitting

Made to last. Backed to match.

Good window coverings need more than a good first impression. We focus on appropriate materials, accurate manufacturing and professional installation — and our Five Year Guarantee Package gives additional reassurance after the fitting is complete.
